The scheme is modified version of old DBTL scheme and is name as “PAHAL”. LPG Subsidy after joining this scheme can be availed either by linking aadhar card or even without it. In this article i will focus on the process on getting LPG Subsidy by connecting the aadhar card details to the Bank account. It is be noted that this is the Step 1 of the process of DBTL(PAHAL) Scheme Registration. So, if you are not sure about how to link aadhar card to bank account for subsidy?, read the details mentioned below.No matter which one is your bank account, it could be State bank of India(SBI), Punjab National Bank(PNB), Oriental Bank of Commerce(OBC), HDFC, ICICI,Canara, Axis Bank or any other. Linking of Aadhar card is important for those who have aadhar cards. The main reason for doing this to get the Subsidy transferred directly to your account. LPG subsidy is among one of the various subsidies government provides. As LPG is the need of every household, every one must link their aadhar card to the subsidy on LPG.
Once downloaded the print out of the form must be taken
You must fill each and every detail in the application form correctly
After filling the details, you need attach the photo copy of Aadhar card or aadhar number to the application
Now visit the nearest branch of your Bank and submit the application form along with photo copy of your Aadhar card
Note : You must carry the Aadhar card in original too. The bank officials might ask you to showcase the original one for verification process
Once your application will be submitted at the bank, they will process it soon
Once processed, your account will be successfully Linked to the Bank Account

Online Mode : Some banks are giving this great facility of Linking the aadhar card to the account via online mode. To make use of the online mode, it is important that the account holder has the internet banking facility or registered mobile number.
The online mode enables you to link your aadhar card with the bank account more easily. If you have the internet banking facility on your bank account, you can easily connect your Aadhar card number with your Bank account. To do so, you need to :
Login into your Online Banking Account
Once logged in, you will see the link to connect your aadhar details with the account
Enter your Aadhar number and other required details
Once the details will be successfully captured by the bank, they will verify the information you have provided.
Once verified, your aadhar card will be successfully linked to your Bank Account.
Linking Aadhar Card to a Specific Bank Account :
The basis process will remain same for every bank account. The bank could be State Bank of India(SBI), Punjab National Bank(PNB), HDFC. Axis Bank. Canara Bank or any other. We are planning to update the bank specific details soon. Stay tuned.
